Tapestry, Inc. is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to own the definition, design, and execution of our virtualization and desktop infrastructure.

You will span on-premises virtualization, cloud, and VDI/HVD across architecture through production operations, turning roadmaps into real deployments. You will build automation, ensure high availability, and work hands-on with Windows Server and Linux, networking, and cloud services while collaborating with internal teams and vendors to

Qualifications

• 7+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with strong systems-level technical judgment.
• Proven expertise in virtualization: VMware ESXi and Nutanix.
• Strong hands-on Windows Server administration, with working knowledge of Linux, networking, and cloud (AWS and/or Azure).
• Demonstrated VDI/HVD experience with one or more of: AWS WorkSpaces, Omnissa Horizon, Microsoft Windows 365 / Azure Virtual Desktop.
• An automation-first mindset — you build repeatable processes and tooling by default (PowerShell, Python, plus config management / IaC such as Ansible or Terraform).
• A track record of owning technical projects and driving them to completion at production scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of virtualization platforms from planning through deployment, including capacity, performance, and lifecycle.
• Own the VDI/HVD estate end to end across AWS WorkSpaces, Omnissa Horizon, and Windows 365 / Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Build the automation and monitoring stack that provisions, patches, and manages infrastructure at scale.
• Own hands-on Windows Server administration, and support Linux workloads as part of a mixed estate.
• Own resilient networking and cloud connectivity for infrastructure and desktop workloads.
• Turn early technical groundwork into functioning, deployed systems and scale them to production.
• Interface with internal teams and external vendors, and manage third-party vendors on provisioning, maintenance, and break-fix support.
