Job summary

Vantor seeks a Senior Platform Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and operate mission-critical software platforms across AWS cloud environments and customer-owned on-premise infrastructure. You will blend hands-on infrastructure engineering with deployment automation and platform architecture to support both commercial and defense customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure/Platform Engineering, or SRE
• Experience deploying and operating production workloads in AWS
• Experience supporting Linux-based infrastructure
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience deploying and operating physical infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills
• U.S. Citizenship

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AWS-based production infrastructure
• Deploy and support customer-owned on-premise environments
• Build repeatable deployment automation for cloud and hardware installations
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code standards for AWS and customer environments
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve deployment reliability
• Support release engineering and production operations
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and platform issues
• Implement security best practices across cloud and on-prem environments
• Support vulnerability remediation and compliance initiatives
• Participate in architecture reviews and platform roadmap planning
• Support customer-facing deployment and operational readiness activities
