Job summary

Mercor is seeking experienced private equity associates to build a financial model from synthetic deal documents and to peer-review models from other contractors on the same transaction.

You will deliver an editable Excel workbook with live formulas, references, and stated assumptions, and provide a concise written rationale and a review scorecard for each model. Fluent English is required, with 2–4 years of experience in infrastructure PE.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years total experience in relevant fields.
• Currently or recently an Associate at an infrastructure-focused PE fund, or the infrastructure arm of a multi-strategy manager.
• Exposure to digital infrastructure — data centres, fibre, or towers.
• Able to build a financial model from source documents, without a template.
• Fluent English

Responsibilities

• Build a working financial model of an assigned infrastructure transaction from a synthetic deal document pack.
• Deliver an editable Excel workbook with live formulas, source references, and stated assumptions.
• Peer-review two anonymized models from other contractors against a fixed set of criteria, with a short written rationale for each and a completed review scorecard
