Job summary

Mercor is seeking an experienced private equity associate to construct a detailed financial model for an infrastructure transaction from synthetic deal documents and to peer-review models produced by other contractors on the same deal. • 2–4 years total experience in relevant finance roles
• Experience in infrastructure PE or infra arm of a multi-strategy fund
• Exposure to digital infrastructure assets such as data centres, fibre, or towers
• Able to build a financial model from source documents without a template
• Fluent English and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Build a working financial model of an infrastructure transaction from a synthetic deal document pack
• Deliver an editable Excel workbook with live formulas, source references, and stated assumptions
• Peer-review two anonymized models against criteria, with a short written rationale and a review scorecard
