Job summary

York County Government is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to supervise the Infrastructure team across endpoint, network, server, and telecommunications. You will direct daily operations, mentor staff, and partner with the Director of IT on policy and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have IT leadership experience or at least 2 years with York County IT.
• Proficiency in endpoint, network, server, and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ITIL standards and best practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Direct and optimize daily operations for the Infrastructure team to ensure reliable and secure IT services.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on Infrastructure performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead planning and execution of infrastructure deployments, upgrades, relocations, and modernization projects.
• Oversee and maintain the IT asset management system for lifecycle visibility and fiscal accountability.
• Serve as liaison between the IT department and external vendors supporting infrastructure services.
• Define and enforce technical standards for all infrastructure systems across York County Government.
• Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery exercises for infrastructure systems.
