Job summary

Sikich is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to lead the team responsible for on-premises and hybrid infrastructure across US offices, with offshore support. The role drives projects, maintains uptime, and serves as a hands-on technical escalation point for the organization.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree (or 7+ years of hands-on network experience) and strong leadership, with expertise in enterprise networking, virtualization, and automation. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 7+ years hands-on network experience
• 3+ years people management
• Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, switching, wireless, VPN, SSL
• Virtualization (HyperV), backup, monitoring tools, Exchange Online, and cloud networking
• PowerShell and automation tools
• Willingness to travel and hands-on problem solving
• Experience leading remote or offshore teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and oversee daily tasks, tickets and projects
• Serve as a technical escalation point and reviewer
• Mentor and manage distributed onshore/offshore team
• Prioritize network stability, performance and uptime
• Manage ticket queue and Tier 2 support
• Oversee design reviews and new tools deployment
• Own on-premises side of hybrid connectivity (VPN, edge firewalls, directory sync)
• Assist with telecom vendor contracts and asset procurement
• Monitor alerts during and outside business hours
• Perform hands-on physical infra work (rack, cabling, switch)
• Participate in acquisitions, projects and security initiatives
• Perform other duties to keep business running
