Job summary

Sikich is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for Washington, DC, reporting onsite 3 days a week to support high-priority on-prem, hybrid, and cloud projects. The role requires active clearance and US citizenship, with a strong focus on complex Cisco/Azure networking, SD-WAN, and data-center strategies.

Work includes collaboration with clients, documentation, and strategic planning to maintain performance, security, and regulatory compliance within a dynamic government services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience.
• US citizenship required and active Public Trust or higher clearance.
• Hybrid role: 3 days/week onsite in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Participate in solutioning efforts and client presentations.
• Troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues with team and client.
• Plan, implement, configure and maintain network infrastructure and data center operations.
• Collaborate on migration strategies across Azure, on-prem and cloud assets.
• Document architectures and update diagrams using Visio.
• Support security configuration management and incident response processes.
• Coordinate with team to ensure best practices and regulatory compliance.
