As the Manager of DevOps and SRE, you will oversee infrastructure, operations, and reliability engineering to ensure systems are highly available, scalable, and efficient. You will lead a team of engineers, collaborate across teams, and drive initiatives to optimize our tech stack.

What you’ll do:

1. Manage Infrastructure and Operations: Oversee infrastructure design, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring high availability and performance. Implement best practices for configuration, deployment pipelines, and monitoring.
2. Scaling and Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and management. Use cloud technologies and orchestration tools to scale seamlessly with business growth.
3. Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Lead an SRE team to maximize reliability, performance, and availability. Implement error budgeting, incident response, and proactive monitoring.
4. Collaboration and Leadership: Work with engineering, product, and security teams to align infrastructure with business goals. Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
5. Security and Compliance: Ensure security and privacy compliance. Collaborate with security teams for vulnerability assessments and incident response.
6. Infrastructure Optimization: Continuously improve infrastructure efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance. Recommend tech stack and process improvements.
7. Budgeting and Resource Management: Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation.

What you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years managing infrastructure, with DevOps/SRE focus.
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with observability tools, monitoring, and incident management.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with agile and CI/CD practices.
• Startup experience is a plus.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.

Where you’ll live:

• Preferably based in Atlanta; open to remote candidates across the U.S.

Working at PrizePicks: Salary range is $170,000 to $250,000, depending on location, skills, and experience. The actual salary will be discussed during hiring.
