We are seeking a full-time, experienced DevOps Engineering Lead/Manager to lead our DevOps initiatives, drive automation, and ensure the scalability and reliability of our infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of DevOps engineers, overseeing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, cloud environments, and optimizing container orchestration with Kubernetes. The ideal candidate has a strong background in DevOps methodologies, cloud technologies, infrastructure management, and automation, along with excellent leadership skills to foster collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement DevOps strategies, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability across the organization

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of automation, innovation, and continuous improvement

  • Work closely with software engineering teams to optimize deployment workflows, enhance system performance, and improve DevOps maturity

  • Define and track key performance metrics for infrastructure reliability and deployment efficiency

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and ensure seamless deployments

  • Drive automation efforts across infrastructure, deployments, and testing to eliminate manual intervention and reduce downtime

  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Pulumi or CloudFormation

  • Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), ensuring cost efficiency, scalability, and security

  • Lead efforts in Kubernetes container orchestration, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of applications

  • Develop and enforce best practices for Kubernetes deployments, networking, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd, Consul), and cluster management

  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies using tools like Open Telemetry and Grafana

  • Improve system reliability and fault tolerance through auto-scaling, disaster recovery planning, and failover strategies

  • Work closely with software development, product, and operations teams to align DevOps initiatives with business goals

  • Collaborate with security teams to implement DevSecOps best practices in pipelines and infrastructure

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with cloud vendors, technology partners, and internal stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, with a strong emphasis on automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure management

  • Proven expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster management, networking, security, and scaling strategies

  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architectures

  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI

  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Pulumi, CloudFormation, or Ansible

  • Experience with observability tools like Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or Datadog for monitoring and logging

  • Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and system performance tuning

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced, agile environment
