Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an Infrastructure Lab Engineer in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) for a 12-month contract. The role emphasizes technology evaluation, lab-based experimentation, and PoC development across Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile and virtualization platforms, with cloud and container experience.

You will automate and document lab workflows while collaborating with senior engineers on platform initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in information technology, computer science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate evaluation needs into lab requirements and services.
• Guide lab offerings, platforms, and constraints.
• Troubleshoot OS, cloud services, connectivity, identity, and platform integrations.
• Administer Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and operations with PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Create and maintain knowledge articles, procedures, and service standards.
• Collaborate on larger-scale platform enhancements and lifecycle work.
• Contribute to planning and deliverables for Infrastructure Engineering tasks.
