Job summary

Everforth Apex in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking a Platform Infrastructure Engineer to design and deliver self-service infrastructure tooling within a hybrid work model. You will build reusable Terraform modules, automate CI/CD pipelines, and embed security by design across cloud architectures in a regulated financial environment.

You will collaborate with platform, analytics, and application teams to accelerate development, enhance observability, and ensure compliant, scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field (minimum 7-year).
• 5+ years as a Cloud Automation Engineer with Terraform experience.
• Proficient in DevOps and GitOps with IaC.
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Python, and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into Terraform modules and platform patterns.
• Design and maintain Terraform IaC for scalable, compliant services.
• Contribute to a self-service platform with golden paths and templates.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, including security scans.
• Embed security-by-design: IAM, encryption, secure networks.
• Governance and guardrails for security and regulatory compliance.
• Develop automation with Python to reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and app teams.
• Leverage AI/ML to accelerate platform development.
• Improve observability and reliability of the platform.
