Job summary

Ares Infrastructure Equity in New York seeks an Asset Management Associate to support portfolio management of investments in the ACI fund, a perpetual core infrastructure vehicle. You will work with the Investment Team on FP&A, valuation analysis, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes financial modeling in Excel, tracking performance versus budget, and ensuring contract compliance with debt metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent, along with relevant work experience
• 2-3 years of finance or accounting experience with exposure to valuation methods and power, energy, or infrastructure
• Strong finance and analytical abilities with solid financial modeling in Excel and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Producing NAV analysis on a monthly basis and NAV forecasts
• Monitoring, reporting, and analyzing performance versus budget
• Interfacing with portfolio investment and financing counterparties
• Monitoring contract compliance including Debt Service Coverage Ratios
• Fund-level financial modeling and updated projections
• Preparing analyses and reporting materials for stakeholders
• Collaborating with Investment, FP&A and other internal teams for compliant reporting
