Ares Infrastructure Equity (AIE) is hiring an Associate to join its Investment Team in New York, NY. The role supports sourcing, structuring, and executing investments in infrastructure assets with a focus on financial analysis and due diligence.

Responsibilities include building financial models, preparing investment committee materials, and monitoring performance across portfolio companies. Base salary ranges from $155,000 to $165,000 with a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent; relevant work experience.
• 1–3 years in private equity, project finance, investment banking, development, or power/energy/infrastructure is preferred.
• Strong finance and analytical abilities with Excel modeling; excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Leading preparation and maintenance of financial models.
• Assisting with due diligence process.
• Assisting with deal structuring and execution.
• Assisting with preparation of investment committee materials.
• Preparing industry and thematic research.
• Monitoring and reporting on operational and financial performance; variance analysis.
• Interfacing with portfolio companies and external diligence providers.
