AIO is an equity-oriented infrastructure group managing approximately $8.5 billion across value-add and core strategies, investing in assets and companies within the infrastructure asset class. Target sectors include renewable energy, energy storage, natural gas midstream, transportation, resource efficiency, low carbon molecules, infrastructure services, and digital infrastructure. The team comprises approximately 30 investment professionals with deep sector expertise.The Associate will work as an integral part of the Investment Team, responsible for originating, structuring, and executing new investments. Key responsibilities include leading the preparation and maintenance of complex financial models, assisting with due diligence processes, supporting deal structuring and execution, preparing investment committee materials, conducting industry and thematic research, and monitoring operational and financial performance of portfolio investments including variance analysis. The role involves direct interfacing with portfolio companies, third-party diligence providers, and external partners.Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of experience in private equity, project finance, investment banking, development, or the power/energy/infrastructure sectors. Strong financial modeling capabilities in Excel and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Industry knowledge in infrastructure or energy is strongly preferred.
