Metron Inc. in Reston, VA seeks a mid-level Infrastructure Engineer to build, deploy, and operate mission-focused software in production.

You will improve how software moves from development into operations, ensuring reliability, observability, and maintainability across containerized deployments, release automation, monitoring, incidents, and integrations with external systems. The strongest candidates will have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker, solid software development

Qualifikationen

Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, math, physics, applied math, or related field
At least 3 years of industry experience
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Experience with Kubernetes, Helm and Docker
Software deployment lifecycles on cloud and on‑premises
Software development experience in Java, Rust or TypeScript/React
Ability to translate technical concepts for researchers, engineers and end users
Familiarity with full-stack web development in common frameworks/languages

Incident response to maintain high uptime of deployed software
