Job summary

Metron, Inc. is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to secure and improve software delivery across the enterprise.

You will embed security, quality, compliance, and supply-chain controls into CI/CD workflows and partner with multiple teams including program and cybersecurity. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering across Azure DevOps, Nexus, SonarQube, and Kubernetes/K3s, with a focus on secure release patterns and documentation for repeatable, trusted deployments.

Qualifications

5+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps or related technical roles.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and YAML.
Experience implementing security, quality, or compliance controls in CI/CD.
Experience with SAST, SCA, dependency scanning, secrets handling, or container scanning.
Troubleshooting CI/CD failures, deployments, or dependencies.
Experience with Kubernetes/K3s, containers, Helm, or related deployment tech.
Ability to write clear technical docs and runbooks.
Active U.S. Secret Clearance and eligible for TS/SCI clearance.
Willing to work in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and secure CI/CD patterns in Azure DevOps with templates and gates.
Support secure release workflows across dev, test, integration, staging, and prod.
Troubleshoot pipeline failures, permissions, dependencies, and scan issues.
Integrate security and quality checks (SAST, SCA, dependency scans) into pipelines.
