Job summary
i3 Broadband is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Cape Girardeau, MO to administer and improve core infrastructure including virtualization, storage, backup/recovery, and identity services. You will work with Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, Software Engineering, Helpdesk, and vendors to ensure secure, scalable platforms and disaster recovery readiness.

Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certificate in IT, infrastructure, or related field (preferred).
- Five+ years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization, cloud services, or datacenter operations preferred.
- Hands-on experience with VMware, Windows Server, storage, backup/recovery, and identity services preferred.
- Experience with Veeam, Microsoft 365, Entra, and monitoring tools is valued.
Responsibilities
- Administer VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, clusters, and VMs.
- Deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot server infra.
- Support Windows Server OS and core datacenter tech across locations.
- Monitor utilization and support capacity planning.
- Coordinate deployments, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle activities.
- Maintain documentation, procedures, and change control.
