Job summary

Acuity, Inc. seeks a Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer (IaaS) to deliver hands-on engineering across data centers, virtualization, compute, and storage in Windows and Linux environments.

The role emphasizes VMware, HCI, SAN/NAS, and secure, scalable enterprise infrastructure across domestic and international sites. You'll work with Cloud, Automation, and Cybersecurity teams to modernize infrastructure, implement IaC, and ensure availability, security, and performance for critical government

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum eight (8) years of enterprise infrastructure experience.
• Strong VMware, Windows Server, and Linux administration experience.
• Experience with HCI, storage, and disaster recovery in production environments.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS or Azure) and hybrid-cloud integration.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and federal security standards (NIST RMF/STIGs).
• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer, and maintain enterprise data center, compute, virtualization, storage, HCI, and hybrid-cloud infrastructure.
• Provide Tier 3 infrastructure engineering and root cause analysis across compute, virtualization, storage, OS, and cloud services.
• Automate provisioning and operations using PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform.
• Support overseas and global deployments with coordination across time zones.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity for mission-critical systems.
