News-Press & Gazette Company (NPG) is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer based in St. Joseph, Missouri, with hybrid-remote options to support our IT and infrastructure needs.

You will troubleshoot hardware, manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and administer VMware vSphere, Windows and Linux servers, and lead IT projects across locations. This role requires 2+ years with AD, strong networking knowledge, and willingness to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background check and drug screening completed.
• Ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Experience with Active Directory and email administration.
• Strong networking knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot and replace failed hardware; install and troubleshoot software.
• Purchase and deploy infrastructure hardware; manage hardware inventory.
• Manage Domain Controllers, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Administer company email environment.
• Lead and manage IT projects; collaborate on IT initiatives.
• Develop and maintain IT process documentation.
• Ensure network security and compliance with policies.
• Manage networks including telecommunication, internet connections, switches, and routers.
• Manage datacenters including SANs and physical servers.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers; manage VMware vSphere.
• Design and implement infrastructure components and virtual environments.
• Work with broadcast engineers and third-party vendors.
