Job summary

Innova Solutions seeks an IAM Engineer to design, build, and maintain AD DS as the core directory service, and to manage cloud identity via Microsoft Entra ID. The role includes identity synchronization, RadiantOne/VDS usage, and ensuring security, recovery planning, and compliance across on-prem and cloud environments.

The engineer will contribute to modernization efforts, monitor system health, and support audits while collaborating with IT teams across locations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining Active Directory (AD DS) as a core enterprise directory service, including user, computer, and permissions management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including cloud identity, authentication, and login/federation management.
• Familiarity with Virtual Directory Services (VDS), with RadiantOne experience strongly preferred for aggregating identity data into a unified directory.

Job description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an IAM Engineer.

Title: IAM Engineer. Position type: Full Time - Contract Duration: 12 Months. Location: Charlotte, NC, Columbus, OH, Irving, TX, Minneapolis, MN, Chandler, AZ (Hybrid-03 days onsite and 02 day Remote).

As an IAM Engineer, You will:

• Active Directory (AD DS): Design, build, and maintain the company's core directory service (the system that manages users, computers, and permissions).


• Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD): Manage cloud-based identity, authentication, and login/federation services.


• Identity synchronization: Keep user data consistent across different systems.


• Virtual Directory Services (VDS), especially RadiantOne: Manage tools that pull identity data from multiple sources and present it as one unified directory, so different applications can talk to each other securely.


• Stability & security: Keep these systems reliable, secure, and running smoothly.


• Disaster recovery & audits: Make sure there's a backup plan if something fails, and that systems meet compliance/audit requirements.


• Modernization: Help plan and execute upgrades or improvements to identity infrastructure over time.


• Monitoring: Keep an eye on system health (this is a supporting task, not the main focus).

The ideal candidate will have:

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: $65/hr to $70/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
