Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer in Jersey City, NJ to design, deploy, and automate enterprise-scale platforms. You will advance IaC practices with Terraform and Ansible, build automation with Python and Bash, and strengthen CI/CD pipelines across teams.

The role requires 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, hands-on Terraform, Ansible Tower, Git/Jenkins, and a DevOps mindset. In‑office with 40 hours per week; salary range posted in benefits section.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Infrastructure Engineer on enterprise-scale platforms.
• 2+ years with Terraform and IaC.
• 2+ years developing Ansible playbooks and automation.
• 2+ years CI/CD toolchains including Git, Jenkins, and Ansible Tower.
• 2+ years in a DevOps culture.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation.
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting.

• Assist in design and deployment of CTI Database Platform services aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Develop and maintain IaC solutions, including Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks.
• Enable highly complex implementations through automation and reusable deployment patterns.
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve service reliability, resiliency, and efficiency.
• Promote DevOps best practices, automation-first thinking, and continuous improvement.
• Understand and implement database lifecycle management actions into PaaS IaC pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and deployment of CTI Database Platform services aligned with enterprise architecture standards

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, supporting enterprise‑scale platforms and services
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code technologies
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience developing Ansible playbooks and automation
• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD toolchains including Git (Bitbucket preferred), Jenkins, and Ansible Tower
• 2+ years of experience working within a DevOps culture and practices
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience with container technologies
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Architect experience with data platforms such as: Redis MongoDB SingleStore CockroachDB

Pay and benefits information

Pay range $100,800.00 - $134,800.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
