Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for Jersey City to design and deploy CTI Database Platform services and to build robust IaC using Terraform and Ansible.

You will enable automation, improve service reliability, and collaborate with platform teams to drive DevOps practices and lifecycle management across databases and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer focusing on enterprise-scale platforms and services.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code technologies.
• 2+ years hands-on experience developing Ansible playbooks and automation.
• 2+ years experience with CI/CD toolchains including Git (Bitbucket preferred), Jenkins, and Ansible Tower.
• 2+ years of experience working within a DevOps culture and practices.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling.
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and deployment of CTI Database Platform services aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions, including Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks.
• Enable highly complex implementations through automation and reusable deployment patterns.

• Promote DevOps best practices, automation-first thinking, and continuous improvement.
• Understand and implement database lifecycle management actions into PaaS IaC pipelines.

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience with container technologies
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$100,800.00 - $134,800.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
