Job summary

Bank of America Plano, TX seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design and deploy scalable platform services. You will implement Terraform modules, write Ansible playbooks, and champion DevOps practices to improve reliability and automation across enterprise systems.

The role requires 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, strong Python/Bash scripting, and hands-on IaC with Git/Jenkins. You will collaborate across engineering teams to enable efficient, secure deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, supporting enterprise-scale platforms and services.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code technologies.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing Ansible playbooks and automation.
• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD toolchains including Git (Bitbucket preferred), Jenkins, and Ansible Tower.
• 2+ years of experience working within a DevOps culture and practices.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling.
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and deployment of CTI Database Platform services aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions, including Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks.
• Enable highly complex implementations through automation and reusable deployment patterns.
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve service reliability, resiliency, and efficiency.
• Promote DevOps best practices, automation‑first thinking, and continuous improvement.
• Understand and implement database lifecycle management actions into PaaS IaC pipelines.
