Job summary

Bank of America in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design and deploy CTI Database Platform services, build IaC solutions with Terraform and Ansible, and automate complex deployments.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability and follow DevOps practices, with 5+ years on enterprise platforms, and proficiency in Python and Bash scripting, Linux, containers, and Kubernetes/OpenShift familiarity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer on enterprise-scale platforms.
• 2+ years Terraform and Infrastructure as Code technologies.
• 2+ years developing Ansible playbooks and automation.
• 2+ years of CI/CD toolchains including Git (Bitbucket), Jenkins, and Ansible Tower.
• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps culture and practices.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling.
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and deployment of CTI Database Platform services aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions, including Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks
• Enable highly complex implementations through automation and reusable deployment patterns
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve service reliability, resiliency, and efficiency
• Promote DevOps best practices, automation‑first thinking, and continuous improvement
• Understand and implement database lifecycle management actions into PaaS IaC pipelines

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, supporting enterprise‑scale platforms and services
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code technologies
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience developing Ansible playbooks and automation
• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD toolchains including Git (Bitbucket preferred), Jenkins, and Ansible Tower
• 2+ years of experience working within a DevOps culture and practices
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience with container technologies
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Architect experience with data platforms such as:

Pay range

$100,800.00 - $134,800.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
