Job summary

Bodewell Group is seeking a full-time Manager to lead communications and stakeholder engagement for large-scale infrastructure and land use projects. This role serves as the primary client contact, translating complex technical information into clear communications and developing stakeholder engagement strategies throughout the project lifecycle.

The position is based in Sacramento and primarily remote with visits to satellite offices and clients, requiring up to 10-15% travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in public relations or public outreach fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field.
• Strong writing and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage communications and stakeholder outreach for large, complex infrastructure and land use programs, serving as a primary point of contact for clients.
• Develop strategic communications and public affairs plans to support outreach and approvals for major projects.
• Coordinate with project teams to translate technical information into clear messaging and collateral.
• Lead and mentor junior team members and support skill development in stakeholder engagement and issue management.
