Job summary

Meta is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer for the Infrastructure Supply Chain and Engineering (ISCE) team. The role focuses on operations and planning optimization across Meta's infrastructure (servers, data centers, network) to balance capacity, flexibility, supply capability, and cost.

Responsibilities include building software and optimization models, collaborating with engineers and business teams, and driving end-to-end supply chain improvements as billions in investment are managed annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years designing and implementing models, optimization, OR or related field.
• 3+ years coding/scripting in Python, R, Java, C, C++, PHP.
• 3+ years in supply chain management—planning, manufacturing, operations, inventory.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure supply chain planning and operations for Meta, from components through finished goods.
• Design improvements to software systems to optimize supply chain operations and partner with software engineers to implement code.
• Develop and analyze business and technical data and scenarios to solve complex supply chain problems.
• Build mathematical models for simulation and optimization of supply/demand, planning, and cost balance.
• Contribute to end-to-end supply chain processes to deliver an executable and optimized plan.
• Manage and resolve critical escalations and exceptions across the supply chain.
• Work cross-functionally to define problem statements, collect data, build analytical models, and drive optimization.
