Job summary

Meta is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer within the ISCE team to optimize operations for our global infrastructure, including servers, data centers, and networks. You will build software and optimization models to balance capacity, cost, and flexibility in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities include owning planning, designing software improvements, and analyzing complex data to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in designing and implementing models, optimization algorithms, operations research, industrial engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in coding/scripting languages such as Python, R, Java, C, C++, PHP.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain management — planning, manufacturing, operations, inventory, etc.
• Experience working with distributed systems at scale.
• Experience in infrastructure operations and technical infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience with planning or optimization or modeling or performance analysis.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure supply chain planning and operations for Meta from components through manufacturing to finished goods.
• Design improvements to software systems to optimize supply chain operations efficiency and quality.
• Develop and analyze business and technical data to solve complex supply chain problems and drive decision-making.
• Build mathematical models to perform simulation and optimization studies of supply/demand projections and gap closure analysis.
• Contribute to end-to-end supply chain processes and data to deliver an executable and optimized supply plan.
• Manage and resolve critical escalations and exceptions in all areas of the supply chain.
• Work cross-functionally to define problem statements, collect data, build analytical models, and drive optimization at strategic levels.
