Job summary

Meta is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer to join the Infrastructure Supply Chain and Engineering (ISCE) team. The role focuses on optimizing operations and planning for a global infrastructure supply chain, including servers, data centers, and network equipment.

You will build software and mathematical optimization models to balance capacity, cost, and flexibility across components from manufacturing to finished goods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years designing and implementing models, optimization algorithms, OR/IE.
• 3+ years coding in Python, R, Java, C, C++, or PHP.
• 3+ years in supply chain management — planning, manufacturing, operations, inventory.
• Experience with distributed systems at scale.
• Experience in infrastructure operations and technical infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience with planning/optimization/modeling/perf analysis.
• Experience with cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure supply chain planning and operations for Meta’s servers, network, and data center equipment from components through manufacturing to finished goods.
• Design improvements to software systems to optimize supply chain operations efficiency and quality, partner with software engineers to implement and contribute code yourself.
• Develop and analyze business and technical data and scenarios to solve complex supply chain problems and drive decision-making.
• Build mathematical models to perform simulation and optimization studies while balancing constraints, product mixes, and costs.
• Contribute to end-to-end supply chain processes and data to deliver an executable and optimized supply plan.
• Manage and resolve critical escalations and exceptions in all areas of the supply chain.
• Work cross-functionally to define problem statements, collect data, build analytical models, and drive optimization at strategic levels.
