Job summary

Meta is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer to join ISCE, focusing on operations and planning optimization for Meta's infrastructure supply chain. The role spans servers, data centers, and network equipment, balancing capacity, flexibility, and cost to scale billions in investment.

You will build software and optimization models, working cross-functionally with engineering and business teams to drive decision-making and continuous improvement in a dynamic, large-scale environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years designing and implementing models, optimization algorithms, OR, or related.
• 3+ years coding/scripting in Python, R, Java, C, C++, PHP.
• 3+ years supply chain planning, manufacturing, operations, inventory, etc.
• Experience with distributed systems at scale.
• Experience in infrastructure operations and technical infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience with planning/optimization/modeling/performance analysis.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure supply chain planning and operations for Meta, from components through finished goods.
• Design software improvements to optimize supply chain efficiency and quality; collaborate with engineers to implement code.
• Develop and analyze data and scenarios to solve complex supply chain problems and drive decisions.
• Build mathematical models for simulation and optimization of supply/demand, scenarios, gap closure, balancing costs and constraints.
• Contribute to end-to-end supply chain processes and data to deliver an executable plan.
• Manage and resolve escalations and exceptions across the supply chain.
• Work cross-functionally to define problems, collect data, build models, and drive optimization at strategic levels.
