Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an Infrastructure Capacity Planner to own mid-range demand forecasts for accelerators, CPU, storage, network, and managed services. You will partner with Finance and data teams to translate forecast into cost drivers and efficiency targets.

The role requires building models with SQL and Python/Pandas, understanding data-center resource classes, and delivering clear, inspectable forecasts to support scalable infrastructure decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in capacity, demand, or supply planning for large-scale technical infrastructure.
• Build forecasting models using SQL against a warehouse and Python/Pandas.
• Understand data-center resource classes and constraints in forecasting.
• Prefer simple, inspectable models and measure forecast error.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the medium-range multi-resource demand forecast for accelerators, CPU, storage, network, and managed services.
• Run plan-vs-reality loop and drive variance toward zero with planning tools and data teams.
• Qualify each capacity tranche against the forecast by shape, region, quarter, and envelope.
• Collaborate with Finance to turn the forecast into core cost drivers and identify savings opportunities.
