Everforth Apex is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Engineer in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid) to support the Core Technology Infrastructure – Infrastructure Automation Engineering team. The role focuses on providing platforms, standards, governance, and training to automate infrastructure resources and manage risk across execution domains.

You will work on monitoring risk, driving remediation, and ensuring policy adherence, with collaboration across product managers and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT risk mitigation across complex infrastructure.
• Experience coordinating remediation across technology infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of risk governance and End-of-Life policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor RISE deliverables and escalate blockers.
• Provide SPI oversight to ensure enterprise process requirements are met.
• Drive vulnerability remediation within SLA or approved extensions.
• Track vulnerabilities and document exceptions.
• Ensure End-of-Life policy adherence and review remediation plans with product managers.
• Provide timely status updates to senior management.

Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Role Overview

This position supports the Core Technology Infrastructure – Infrastructure Automation Engineering team. The role is focused on providing the technology platforms, standards, governance, and training to support the automation of infrastructure resources. The successful candidate will support the execution of strategy and risk management discipline across various execution domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor Risk Integration Support Environment (RISE) deliverables, including items pending validation, and perform early identification and escalation of blockers.
• Provide Single Process Inventory (SPI) oversight to ensure enterprise process requirements and performance goals are met.
• Drive vulnerability remediation within service-level agreements (SLA) or with approved remediation extensions.
• Track and analyze vulnerabilities to ensure on-time remediation or timely documentation and approval of exceptions.
• Ensure End-of-Life (EOL) policy adherence by monitoring committed remediation dates and reviewing plans with product managers.
• Provide timely status updates to senior management regarding risk and remediation efforts.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in risk mitigation programs across complex IT infrastructure.
• Experience facilitating remediation across technology infrastructure.
• Coordination, oversight, and execution of risk management across Technology Infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure Automation Platforms such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience implementing testing platforms, unit tests, user acceptance testing, and regression testing.

• Thorough understanding of user experience optimization.
