Infrastructure Analyst III
Optomi is seeking an Infrastructure Analyst III to join the OT Lab Team to address an equipment backlog. This role involves a mix of system and network administration responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on network configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on technical experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, lab‑based environment.
Base pay range
$40.00/hr – $50.00/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Provide enterprise‑level support for technologies supporting infrastructure and business applications, including servers, workstations, storage, and mobile devices.
- Integrate software to enable use, support, and monitoring of hardware technologies.
- Develop and maintain procedures for standard installations, upgrades, and configurations.
- Plan, design, install, and support computer systems across lab environments.
- Facilitate technical and business planning for upgrades and enhancements.
- Evaluate, acquire, and implement hardware/software components.
- Perform integration testing, configuration management, and performance monitoring.
- Coordinate software and hardware upgrades with internal IT teams and business units.
- Create documentation and progress reports for individual and project‑level work.
- Research emerging technologies, recommend new tools or upgrades, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3–4 years of professional experience supporting IT infrastructure.
- Strong working knowledge of operating systems, software, and hardware.
- General system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to apply network and firewall concepts to design, simplify, and troubleshoot network issues.
- Experience with VMware, Cisco, Palo Alto, Ixia, Arista, Opengear, and Raritan.
- Excellent documentation and process adherence skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks in a team‑driven environment.
- Proven ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues with minimal supervision.
- Skilled in presenting technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Demonstrated professionalism, adaptability, and composure in high‑pressure settings.
