Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Multi-Domain Operations, and Missile Defense Integration is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer – Level 2 to join our IRHB missile modeling team at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. This on-site role focuses on infrared threat modeling, high-fidelity simulations, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 0-2 years.
• Strong math, physics, and engineering background.
• Ability to travel up to 10% to support business needs.
• Current active in-scope U.S. Government Secret clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

• Develop infrared threat models for missile systems and support MDA BMDS simulations.
• Capture and document infrared signature requirements for missile modeling.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure V&V of deliverables.
• Produce high-fidelity models and simulations for use across tools/frameworks.
• Coordinate with software engineers to integrate models into the baseline.
