Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to support a major program and construction management team delivering a large, complex industrial infrastructure project. The role requires administering risk and opportunity management, maintaining the risk register, and coordinating mitigation activities with multiple stakeholders.

The position is based near Little Rock, Arkansas, with remote work allowed in year one. After year one, relocation or commuting to Little Rock is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or bachelor’s with extensive risk-management experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in risk management, project controls, or construction management.
• Experience administering risk management for large industrial/infrastructure programs.
• Facilitated risk workshops and maintained risk registers with clear mitigation plans.
• Proficient in risk identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Program Risk and Opportunity Management Plan.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive risk register within the PMIS or risk-management platform.
• Facilitate risk workshops, interviews, and readiness reviews with stakeholders.
• Coordinate mitigation actions, escalation thresholds, and performance reporting.
• Support quantitative risk analyses, risk-adjusted forecasts, and contingency assessments.
