Parsons is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to support a major program and construction management team on a large industrial infrastructure project near Little Rock, Arkansas. The role reports to the Construction Manager/Site Lead and will oversee safety, health, and environmental activities during construction, commissioning, and startup.

During the first year, remote work is permitted; after that, relocation or commuting distance to Little Rock is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant inspection experience.
• Experience inspecting civil and structural work on large industrial/infrastructure projects.
• Experience as a lead or supervisory inspector preferred.
• Direct construction-inspection experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate inspection and surveillance of civil, structural, architectural, and site-development construction.
• Assign inspection coverage based on schedules, priorities, risk, and hold/witness points.
• Review drawings, submittals, shop drawings, work plans, ITPs, and acceptance criteria.
• Inspect earthwork, foundations, concrete, structural steel, paving, and related site improvements.
• Verify dimensions, elevations, tolerances, materials, installation methods, and completed work.
• Coordinate surveys, material sampling, field inspections, and testing.
• Review material certifications, test results, and other quality records.
• Ensure inspections, tests, approvals, and preparatory activities are completed before work proceeds.
• Identify non-conforming work and prepare deficiency notices and punch lists.
• Coordinate evaluations of non-conforming work and corrective actions.
• Monitor contractor workmanship and compliance with procedures.
• Maintain daily reports, photos, quantity records, nonconformance records, and supporting docs.
• Provide field information for progress measurement and change evaluations.
• Coordinate interfaces with other disciplines and support turnover and final acceptance.
• Provide technical direction and quality oversight to inspectors and field staff.
• Perform other responsibilities as needed.
• Remote work during the first year with relocation or commuting distance required thereafter.
