Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager/Construction Manager, Senior to lead construction-management activities on a large, complex industrial infrastructure project near Little Rock, Arkansas. You will supervise field teams, coordinate with clients, engineers, and contractors, and ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost alignment with approved designs.

For the first year, remote work is permitted.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 10+ years in construction management or related field.
• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years in construction management or related field.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary construction teams and overseeing multiple contractors/work packages.
• Experience managing construction through preconstruction, mobilization, field execution, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality assurance, project controls, risk management, and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction-management and field-oversight activities across facilities, contracts, and project areas.
• Support planning, mobilization, execution, monitoring, turnover, and closeout.
• Develop and implement construction-management plans, field procedures, and reporting requirements.
• Direct assigned construction managers, inspectors, engineers, and project engineers.
• Coordinate construction activities among Client, engineering teams, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Review contractor plans, schedules, staffing, site logistics, and recovery plans.
• Monitor performance against safety, quality, schedule, cost, staffing, and contractual requirements.
• Ensure use of current drawings, specifications, procedures, and changes.
• Coordinate hazard controls, inspections, and corrective actions with Safety and Quality teams.
• Prepare status reports, metrics, forecasts, and risk summaries.
• Support substantial completion inspections, punch lists, and contract closeout.
