Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced network engineer to design, implement, and support Cisco-based wired and SD-WAN branch networks across enterprise sites, with emphasis on DNA Center automation and secure connectivity.

You will translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable architectures, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with architecture, security, and operations teams to uphold governance and high availability in a banking environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on Cisco routing and switching experience for enterprise campus and branch designs.
• Experience with Catalyst Center (DNA Center) for automation and lifecycle management.
• Experience deploying SD-WAN in distributed branches and zero trust concepts.
• Knowledge of enterprise governance and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical definitions, blueprints, and playbooks.
• Lead evaluation of reference models and third‑party products for deployment.
• Mentor infrastructure resources and ensure compliance with standards.
• Design and support Cisco-based branch networks ensuring high availability.
• Develop automation to reduce manual tasks and improve reliability.
