Job summary

Banc of California is seeking a Network Engineer to design, deploy and maintain enterprise network infrastructure. You will ensure availability, performance and security across routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, and WANs while supporting server deployments and incident response.

The role requires hands-on expertise in SD-WAN, Cisco and Palo Alto technologies and strong collaboration with IT teams. The position emphasizes monitoring, documentation, and participation in infrastructure

Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience supporting enterprise network environments.
Experience with LAN/WAN design, implementation and support.
Experience with network security and capacity planning.
Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, Cisco, Palo Alto, Azure and related network technologies.
Understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs and security principles.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Implement, configure, monitor, and support network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless APs, WAN circuits).
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, performance, and security issues.
Support server, OS, and infrastructure deployments.
Monitor network security technologies and perform upgrades and migrations.
Create and maintain network diagrams, procedures, and documentation.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.
Respond to after-hours incidents and outages; participate in disaster recovery planning.
