Job summary

Banc of California in Santa Ana is seeking a Network Engineer to implement, monitor, and optimize our enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance, and security across the bank’s systems. You will perform routine and moderately complex network administration, participate in upgrades, and maintain documentation.

The role requires 3–5 years in enterprise networks, strong knowledge of Cisco, Palo Alto, Azure networking, SD-WAN, and TCP/IP fundamentals.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience maintaining enterprise network environments.
Experience with LAN/WAN design, implementation, and support.
Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, Cisco routing/switching, Palo Alto firewalls.
Familiar with Microsoft Azure networking and VLANs/DNS/DHCP basics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Implement, configure, monitor, and support network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, Wi‑Fi, and WAN.
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, performance, and security issues.
Support server, OS, and application deployments.
Create and maintain network diagrams, procedures, and docs.
Collaborate with IT teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues.
Assist in disaster recovery planning and testing.
Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues and implement services.
Maintain compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
