Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Field Quality Supervisor to lead a team of technicians ensuring quality and safety within the Infra department. You will manage staffing, run 6S programs, and establish quality control steps to ensure work is planned and completed correctly.

The role focuses on safety, team growth, and root-cause analysis for quality or safety issues. You will also perform job observations, track KPIs, and write inspection reports while ensuring compliance with EH&S

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in field operations.
• Bachelor’s in engineering preferred; strong leadership and QA background.
• Experience leading technician teams and ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians overseeing field quality in infra.
• Manage staffing coverage to meet business needs.
• Oversee Infra 6S programs and KPI tracking.
• Conduct job walks and validate prep for activities.
• Monitor workflow to meet KPIs and safety goals.
• Lead safety and quality meetings; escalate issues as needed.
