Samsara is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Core Infrastructure team. This role oversees the foundational compute, networking, storage, and cloud systems behind Samsara’s products, ensuring availability, scalability, security, and efficiency at scale.

You will guide infrastructure strategy and partner with security and product teams to enable faster delivery. You’ll mentor a globally distributed group, advance automation and self-service capabilities, and apply AI-enabled

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years directly managing software/infrastructure engineers
• Experience leading an established engineering team
• Strong background in production infrastructure/cloud platforms
• Track record translating strategy into measurable results
• Strong communication and cross-team alignment

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop a globally distributed Core Infrastructure team
• Own technical strategy and roadmap across compute, networking, storage, and cloud efficiency
• Improve operational health: capacity management, fault isolation, observability, safe rollouts
• Build automation and self-service infrastructure for faster engineering delivery
• Apply AI-enabled tools to improve engineering execution and toil reduction
• Hire and develop a high-performing, inclusive team
