You will define technical strategy, design end-to-end features, and collaborate with product, design, and customer-facing teams to translate real-world problems into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software design and development experience.
• Strong full-stack fundamentals across backend, APIs, and frontend.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and React.
• Experience leading cross-team projects, managing ambiguity, and delivering impact.
• Experience building AI-powered or data-driven products.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder translation skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technically complex, mission-critical areas and drive them to completion.
• Define and drive technical strategy for new products and platform capabilities from backend services to UI.
• Design and ship full-stack features end to end across backend, frontend, and mobile where applicable.
• Partner with product, design, and customer-facing teams to translate real-world problems into technical plans and measurable outcomes.
• Build and scale the systems behind AI-powered products, including data ingestion and APIs.
• Mentor engineers, raise quality standards, and promote Samsara’s cultural principles.
