Job summary

Sixfold is seeking a Software Engineer, Infrastructure in New York. You will build and run cloud infrastructure, manage Kubernetes environments, deployment tooling, and observability to enable product teams.

You will work with Terraform, Azure/AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD, GitHub Actions, and Datadog. The role emphasizes reliability, on-call duties, and improving legacy systems while scaling with the company’s growth.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years working on infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE problems.
Experience running production workloads on Kubernetes and troubleshooting Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Jobs, and Helm charts.
Used Terraform in production, or strong IaC tool experience with cloud networking, IAM, secrets, scaling, security, and safe rollouts.
Built or maintained CI/CD or GitOps workflows; ability to read, debug, and write code in at least one general-purpose language.

Responsibilities

Build and operate the infrastructure powering Sixfold's products.
Manage Kubernetes workloads, Helm charts, Argo CD configuration, and GitHub Actions workflows.
Improve reliability with Datadog dashboards, alerts, and traces; participate in on-call rotations.
Simplify legacy infrastructure; consolidate Terraform repositories and AWS accounts where sensible.
