Sixfold AI, Inc. is building AI-powered underwriting infrastructure in New York City. We seek an engineer to own cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, deployment tooling, and observability to enable product teams to ship confidently.

You will join Central Tech, modernizing AWS/Terraform usage, and expanding GitOps workflows. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and scalable tooling with on-call obligations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years on infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE problems.
• Experience running production workloads on Kubernetes and troubleshooting Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Jobs, and Helm charts.
• Terraform in production or strong experience with another IaC tool; familiarity with multiple clouds (AWS/Azure).
• Built or maintained CI/CD or GitOps workflows; able to read, debug and write code; Go is a plus.
• Experience on-call rotations and using metrics, logs, traces, alerts, dashboards to investigate production issues; responsible follow-up and postmortems.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate Sixfold's infrastructure, including cloud resources and Kubernetes workloads.
• Make deployments faster and more reliable by creating reusable patterns, docs, and tools for product teams.
• Improve reliability with Datadog dashboards, alerts, logs, and traces; plan changes with rollback as a consideration; participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Modernize legacy infrastructure by consolidating Terraform repositories and AWS accounts while maintaining security and isolation.
