Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Infrastructure Data Analytics Engineer in Chicago to transform data from infrastructure, cloud, and enterprise systems into actionable insights.

The role blends data engineering, analytics, automation, and governance to support technology strategy and risk management. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL, Python, Alteryx, and API integration, and will follow SDLC practices with source control (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps) to deliver scalable analytics solutions

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience.
• Experience with infrastructure, cloud, or operational technology data is preferred.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and release automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion from multiple sources including infrastructure monitoring platforms and cloud databases.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to cleanse, transform, and enrich data.
• Create Python-based data extraction, transformation, quality validation, and automation workflows.
• Design and maintain Alteryx workflows for data preparation and analytics automation.
• Analyze infrastructure and operational data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Support executive reporting, KPI dashboards, and data-driven decision making.
