Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Quality Engineer to champion quality for electrical, infotainment, and connectivity systems in future vehicle programs. You will identify potential failures early and partner with design engineers, program management, suppliers, and problem-solving teams to drive corrective actions to closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with problem-solving methods and quality engineering.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CPA and work with Product Development and suppliers to ensure FMA documentation, Boundary Diagrams, P-Diagrams, quality history, RCLs, and SCCAFs.
• Lead root-cause investigations with design engineers, program management, suppliers, and problem-solving teams to drive corrective actions to closure.
• Audit program quality deliverables against GPDS milestones, DVP&R documentation, and launch readiness criteria.
• Analyze quality, warranty, and customer satisfaction data using AI-enabled analytics to identify trends and prioritize risks.
• Use Jira, Jama Connect, FEDE, GSAR, MagicDraw, and AI-assisted tools to improve documentation reviews and cross-team collaboration.
