Job summary

Idexcel seeks a skilled Ping Directory specialist to upgrade, monitor, and secure the Ping Directory datastore in an AWS environment. The role covers maintenance, security updates, and custom solutions in a hybrid setup around Reston, VA.

The candidate should excel in LDAP-based data modeling, indexing, and high-volume authentication support, with experience in migrations, LDIF handling, and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting Ping Directory in AWS.
• Strong knowledge of LDAP, directory schema, indexes, replication, referrals, access controls, and directory data modeling.
• Experience troubleshooting directory issues, optimizing searches, tuning indexes, analyzing logs, and supporting high-volume authentication workloads.
• Experience with directory migrations, LDIF exports/imports, data cleanup, synchronization, backup/restore, and disaster recovery planning.
• Strong understanding of TLS/SSL, certificates, password policies, access control rules, secure bind patterns, service accounts, and IAM integrations.
• Experience running or supporting Ping Directory on Kubernetes, Docker, or other cloud/container platforms

Description:

SSO Datastore (Ping Directory) upgrades, operational support, maintenance, security updates, custom solutions.

Must-have skills:

• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting Ping Directory in AWS
• Strong knowledge of LDAP, directory schema, indexes, replication, referrals, access controls, and directory data modeling.
• Experience troubleshooting directory issues, optimizing searches, tuning indexes, analyzing logs, and supporting high-volume authentication workloads.
• Experience with directory migrations, LDIF exports/imports, data cleanup, synchronization, backup/restore, and disaster recovery planning.
• Strong understanding of TLS/SSL, certificates, password policies, access control rules, secure bind patterns, service accounts, and IAM integrations.
• Experience running or supporting Ping Directory on Kubernetes, Docker, or other cloud/container platforms

Good-to-have skills:
