Job summary

Think Consulting is seeking an experienced Ping Identity Engineer to administer, upgrade, and modernize our enterprise SSO data store environment. The role focuses on PingDirectory upgrades, security remediation, performance optimization, and bespoke directory solutions within AWS.

Ideal candidates will have deep LDAP expertise, cloud directory experience in AWS, and hands-on work with Kubernetes, Docker, and TLS/SSL security controls.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with PingDirectory in AWS environments.
• Knowledge of LDAP schemas, replication, access controls, and data modeling.
• Experience with directory migrations, LDIF imports/exports, backups, and DR planning.
• Understanding of identity security concepts including TLS/SSL and password policies.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain PingDirectory environments in AWS.
• Support stability, security, and performance of enterprise SSO directory platforms.
• Design and implement directory architecture, schemas, replication, and data models.
• Troubleshoot complex directory and authentication issues; perform root cause analysis.
• Optimize directory performance via indexing, query tuning, and log analysis.
• Manage directory migrations, data synchronization, backups, and DR processes.
• Implement and maintain directory security controls including certificates and IAM integrations.
• Contribute to automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency across directory services.
• Support containerized and cloud-native deployments utilizing Kubernetes and Docker.
• Develop custom solutions to improve scalability and reliability.
