Job summary

System One in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Senior PingDirectory Engineer to manage enterprise directory services on onsite infrastructure. You will upgrade and support PingDirectory in AWS, optimize LDAP workloads, and ensure high availability for authentication services.

Applicants should have 5+ years with PingDirectory, LDAP, and IAM integrations, plus experience with Kubernetes or Docker and scripting in Shell/Python for automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on PingDirectory experience in AWS.
• Strong LDAP knowledge: schemas, replication, access controls.
• Experience with migrations, LDIF exports/imports, DR.
• TLS/SSL, certificates, password policies, secure bind.
• Experience integrating directory services with IAM/auth platforms.
• Experience deploying PingDirectory with Kubernetes/Docker.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise SSO directory services within a large scale financial services environment.
• Perform PingDirectory upgrades, operational support, security updates, and custom directory solutions in AWS.
• Maintain availability, performance, security, and reliability of directory services for high volume auth workloads.
• Troubleshoot complex directory issues, analyze logs, optimize LDAP searches and tune indexes.
• Manage migrations, LDIF exports/imports, synchronization, data cleanup, backup and DR procedures.
• Ensure TLS/SSL, certificates, password policies, and secure bind patterns are followed.
• Integrate directory services with IAM/auth platforms and deploy PingDirectory using Kubernetes/Docker.
• Automate administration with Shell or Python and provide strong production support.
