Capital Area Health Network (CAHN) in Richmond, VA is seeking an Information Technology Technician to deliver high-quality support to staff and clients across phone, email, live chat, and in person. You will troubleshoot software and hardware, plan repairs with the Network Manager, and help maintain security policies.

This on-site role requires an Associate degree in IT, A+ certification, and experience with Electronic Health Records such as eClinicalWorks.

• Associate degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• A+ Certification required.

Responsibilities

The Network Technician will troubleshoot software and hardware issues to determine where repairs need to be made and then plan those repairs with the Network Manager. The IT Network Technician will be cross-trained and support additional hardware and software base applications.---**Essential Functions*** Provide technical support to clients through various channels of communication.* Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees regarding cybersecurity risks, secure technology use, and other HIPAA compliance standards.* Troubleshoot computer software and hardware issues, make repairs, and perform scheduled updates.* Partner with the IT team to ensure that security software is properly installed on employee computers.* Build, configure, and deploy new desktops, laptops, VoIP, and all forms of mobile devices.s* Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and staff education programs.* Provide desktop support for Microsoft technologies, es including Windows and Office 365.
